Visit Ozaukee Launches New Cedarburg Website

Visit Ozaukee is pleased to announce the launch of their new website. Launching with the city of Cedarburg, which will feature local businesses as well as events for the area. The site was developed to bring all aspects of online media to one place, connecting you to anything you may be searching for in Cedarburg and its surrounding areas in Ozaukee County. Cedarburg is an ideal place to live as well as a destination for any type of getaway. Whether you are looking to stroll the downtown shops, wine taste or tour the numerous parks and trails, Cedarburg has it all.
The downtown is lined with small eateries and quaint shops for all to enjoy. This historic downtown is home to numerous shops of all kinds, historic architecture and lots of local flavor…All that walking is bound to make you hungry, don’t forget to reward yourself with ice cream from The Chocolate Factory or a candy apple from Amy’s Candy Kitchen.
Shopping not your style, hit the Interurban Trail, get your trail map here. The Interurban Trail goes from one end to the other of Ozaukee County, streaming through the downtowns of numerous communities. You can bicycle or hike along this trail, making pit stops at downtown eateries. If you get a flat along the way be sure to stop by Local Motion Outfitters they are conveniently located steps away from the trail.
Visit Cedarburg’s unique attractions, including the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center, Cedarburg General Store Museum and the last Covered Bridge in Wisconsin located in the Town of Cedarburg. Stop by the local brewery, Silver Creek Brewing Company located in the historic grist mill. Or go wine tasting at Cedar Creek Winery located in the historic Cedar Creek Settlement.
There are numerous festivals throughout the year in Cedarburg. Wine & Harvest Festival, Strawberry Festival and Oktoberfest just to name a few. Friday’s in the summer bring a blanket and a cooler; Summer Sounds provides music all summer long at the beautiful Cedar Creek Park.
Of course none of this would be possible without the people that live here, graciously hosting events for all to enjoy and welcoming all to their community.
